Features

The Rugged Cams line of Standard DVR's has just gotten a major upgrade.

The VidSafe Super-Wide Video DVR's are capable of recording footage at the amazing 960H Real Time resolution.

This means that all channels can record at the highest resolution (960px x 480px) and fastest frame rates (30fps) simultaneously.

This 960H Resolution is 33% wider video than the old D1 (740px x 480px) and displays properly on todays modern 16:9 monitors without distorting or stretching the video image.

Monitor Output has also received an upgrade, you now have a choice to view your cameras on an cctv monitor, standard VGA monitor or an HDMI Monitor

All VidSafe S-WV DVR's are capable of 2 onboard hard Drives, 1tb -3tb each, or 1 Hard Drive and 1 external eSATA device.

Video Signal Equalization - In some installations of CCTV equipment, the distance between the DVR and Camera is a serious aspect for consideration. In order to make this a competitive advantage of Rugged Cams DVR’s, the video signal from the DVR is ‘boosted’ as to allow for extra 30% distance between the DVR and recording Camera.

iSCSI - Storage through internet allows data transfers over intranets and to manage storage over long distances, iSCSI can be used to transmit data over local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), or the Internet and can enable location-independent data storage and retrieval.

The USB ports will support wired or wireless mouse, also used for security footage transfer to a USB Flash Storage
