You will never outgrow this DVR. Even if you start out with all analog cameras, you can switch at anytime to Digital Megapixel – using the same DVR, the same camera wiring and the same camera power. Like all of the Rugged Cams DVR’s these rugged, tough DVR’s can be completely controlled via any computer anywhere in the world, or by your Smart Phone, Tablet, iPad or other device. Easily view all of your cameras, review archived footage, or even change any setting or feature – from anywhere in the world that you can get Wi-Fi or cell coverage.

The Auto-HD Series also gives you real-time recording on every channel – another feature that is rare to find in a DVR. Also, every Auto-HD delivers full 1080p Video via an HDMI connector, and via VGA connector – and can deliver both simultaneously. That means that you can have HD Monitors at numerous locations throughout your site.

The Auto-HD sports a new user friendly Menu structure that is really simple to navigate, and allows both Smart Search and Event Searches of the archived footage. The Auto-HD Series also has dual RS-485 Ports so that it is much easier to connect cameras that have OSD Menus, PTZ cameras, and PTZ Controllers to the system without having to twist all of the lines together. The Auto-HD DVR’s also can sense if you have or need an “end-of-line” resistor in a PTZ string, and can also alert you if a camera is being tampered with.

One of the newest features that we have included in the Auto-HD Series, is a Equalizer, or Booster for each video channel. So if any camera has a weak signal or is over-modulating, the Equalizer system will either boost the signal or tone the signal down so that it more closely matches all of the adjacent channels. In the past, and with most other DVR’s, a weak signal can be problematic and cause all types of problems. Now the Auto-HD DVR makes these issues a non-event.

To accommodate the huge amount of data that is being transferred across the network when accessing Live or Recorded Video, we have included a Gigabit Ethernet Port to allow as much data as your network can handle, or can be throttled back to give you faster video remotely via smaller resolutions, but the DVR will still be recording the video at the original chosen resolution for each channel. This allows for tailoring the data streams to give you exactly what you need on-site or remotely to your phone or iPad.

If you have a store that has cash registers, the Auto-HD can be configured to interface with the registers to show you transactions on-screen for each channel.
